Welcome! I am a social worker who has always had a calling to work with people in a helping capacity pretty much my whole life! I have held various positions in the human services field for the last 17 years, with various institutions throughout Colorado. Most recently I have worked as a forensic social worker, providing support to criminal defense teams who represent clients who need advocacy by way of mitigation. I bring a plethora of tools and compassion to help you find your strength to overcome whatever it is you are facing.

My educational background consists of earning a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a Bachelors Degree in Sociology from the University of Northern Colorado (go bears!) in 2003. After graduation, I immediately went on to obtain a Masters Degree in Science in Human Services (MS) with a specialization in Criminal Justice from Capella University in 2008. After working in the criminal justice field for 14 years, I decided I wanted to help people get through the most challenging times in their life in a therapeutic capacity so back to school I went! I was accepted to Colorado State University in 2017 (go rammies!) and finally began my true calling as a social worker. In my MSW program, I completed internships at a local inpatient psychiatric hospital, at a local school district, and with a social worker in private practice. Ultimately, I graduated with a Masters in Social Work (MSW) in 2019. Post graduation, I passed the Colorado state licensure test and became a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) as well as an Addition Counselor Candidate (ACC). I also am endorsed through the Colorado Department of Education as a School Social Worker/Special Service Provider.

If I'm not working, I am likely playing with one of my four rescue dogs! Although, they in all likelihood have really rescued me, over and over. If the dogs aren't demanding my time, I can be found trying to pet my cats, crafting up something fun in my craft room, or trying to garden (although my green thumb is hit and miss).
