Connie comes to Blue Feather Counseling with a strong passion for helping others. Connie has over 8 years experience working in schools, as a school psychologist and counselor, coordinating Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) and 504 plans. Further, Connie teaches psychology classes at Morgan Community College and worked at The Crisis Prevention Institute as an instructor for three years.
Connie is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC.0019434) in the state of Colorado. She received a Bachelor of Science in General Psychology through Capella University in 2012. Connie then obtained a Master of Science in Psychology, with a specialization in Child and Adolescent Development in 2014 from Capella University. In 2012, Connie obtained a Master's degree in Education in School Counseling from Liberty University in 2021, and in 2022 a post-masters' certificate in Child and Adolescent Disorders from Grand Canyon University. Connie is currently working towards a post-masters' certificate in Trauma Counseling through Grand Canyon University.
